WWII vintage FN Model 1922, 7.65mm (.32acp); rare Commercial variation with factory rough polish blue finish; 5-digit serial number. Made approx. 1940 to 1941; very good finish; excellent bright bore with strong rifling. it has several Waffen 140 Nazi proofs; MR trigger guard stamp; matching serial numbers on frame, barrel and slide. Comes with leather holster and two original FN marked magazines with the correct phosphate finish. This pistol has been checked by our gunsmith and is in firing condition. It employs a near tubular slide with the return spring wrapped around the barrel. However, the barrel and slide are longer as was the grip (to increase magazine capacity). Chamber in 7.65mm with an eight shot magazine. It again employed a striker-fired mechanism. It was widely adopted by police and military forces and saw considerable action during WWII. This example is a wartime manufactured piece with black plastic grips. Plenty of Nazi markings and matching numbers throughout. In very good overall condition with what looks like the original finish. Complete with one magazine. Currently deactivated to post 1995 UK standards with fully moving parts, working dry-fire action and fully strippable.
